Producers: Domaine J-M Fourrier
Jean Marie Fourrier has been at the helm of this Gevrey Chambertin winery since 1994. Stations in Oregon or at Henri Jayer gave Jean Marie the necessary tools when he was taken over by his father at the age of 23. He is a wiry, open type, car fanatic and enthusiastic sports pilot, the airport is almost around the corner from him. His wine focus lies in the natural vineyard work of the family's 9 hectares. Fourrier stands for natural wines with little sulphur, extremely terroir-oriented, produced with maximum respect for nature and aged in as little new wood as possible. The result is wines of incredible complexity that require aging, but then offer a grandiose world of Pinot Noir.
