The Boillot family has been growing grapes on the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy since 1885. In 1975, Henri Boillot joined the business, which he took over completely a short time later. Under his leadership, the winery gained an exceptional reputation and rose to the absolute top of the world. Today, he runs the domaine together with his son Guillaume, who has been responsible for the vinification of the red wines since 2012. The flagship winemaker owns cru sites in the best vineyards of Puligny, Meursault, Beaune, Volnay and Savigny, which he cultivates in ?Lutte raisonnée?, which corresponds to integrated production IP in Switzerland. Henri's globally acclaimed wines have already legendary ageing potential and exude understated, finessed elegance, tremendous freshness and vibrant minerality.
Allen Meadows, a renowned expert on Burgundian wines, has been celebrating Boillot for several years with the highest ratings and elevated it to the vinological Olympus with the 2013 vintage.
