On the nose, fresh aromas of yellow fruit, orange zest and subtle hints of nutty aromas. On the palate fresh fruit accompanied by a nice acidity and minerality. A great Bourgogne Blanc that gives a lot of pleasure in the glass.
Spontaneous fermentation takes place in small oak barrels. After one year on the yeast, the wines ripen for another 18 to 22 months in small oak barrels.
Domaine is located in Meursault in the Côte de Beaune. The 5.5 hectare domain is run by François and his son Antoine. They produce various Meursault from Village and 1er Cru locations. The tops were Porusot's 1er Cru and Genevrières. The vines are 20-25 years old. Since Antoine joins the domain, the wines have gained even more elegance and depth. Natural management of the vineyards and manual harvesting are one of the factors for their high quality. The wines of the Domaine have a very large storage potential, so you should not drink too young.
The plots for this wine are located around Meursault.
