Producers: Clos l'Eglise
On this unique terroir, Château Clos l'Eglise (not to be confused with the homonymous Château in Pomerol!) - just a few kilometers as the crow flies away from the famous Château Pavie, which, like Château Clos l'Eglise and other icons, such as the Saint Emilion Château's La Clusière and Monbousquet, belong to the estate of Gérard Perses. Under the guidance of the busy oenologist Michel Rolland, Perse cultivates a modern style of vinification on his estates, which does not always inspire enthusiasm among the traditionalists, which, however, can hardly diminish the international success of the wines.
