Producers: Garmón Continental
Garmón Continental is the name of the new, hotly anticipated project of the Garcia family (Aalto, Mauro, San Roman) that will belong to the region D.O. Ribera del Duero. The vintages 2014 and 2015 were still produced and bottled in the premises of Aalto. A production of about 80,000 bottles is planned, from the first vintage of the Garmón 2014, 36,600 bottles were bottled. The vines for the Garmón stand on small mini parcels of the Ribera del Duero: In Baños, Tubilla, La Aguilera and Moradillo. All altitudes between 850 and 1000 meters, where the grapes ripen slowly and weather capers have less influence. The vineyard work aims at a long growth cycle and late harvest with traditional concepts to achieve an optimal result.
