Quite simply Cavalleri: no fancy name, no mysterious abbreviation, but simply the surname Cavalleri, one of the oldest in Erbusco. The family name has been on the label of the wines since 1968 with the first bottle of Curtefranca and especially since 1979 with the first bottle of Franciacorta.
