A fascinating game of dark berry aromas entertains you at the highest level. And before it gets boring, fleshy aromas and spicy components blend in and perfect the attractant! On the palate, the wine is unbeatably beautiful, even in its youth! The wine is very pressurized, shows its silky structure and opens to a long, long, focused finish.
Vinification and maturation take place in contrete tanks and Barriques.
In the east of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation - around Le Crau, one of the very best sites in the region - the Pascal and Vincent Maurel brothers cultivate Mourvèdre, Vaccarèse, Cinsault and Syrah in ancient vineyards of up to 100-year-old vines in addition to Grenache. In a very traditional way, under the supervision of no less a person than Philippe Cambie, they press four breathtaking wines, which are classically "Châteauneuf-Like", "Vins de soleil".
