Lively rubi red colour. Fresh stimulating nose with an aromatic spectrum ranging from red berry and bilberry to a hint of cherry notes and aromas of undergrowth. On the palate, this Pinot Noir offers a delightful balance between ripe fruit, elegance and minerallity.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by a short ageing time in big oak barrels.
The winery Marugg is located on the northern edge of the wine-growing village Fläsch. Around the village, the accompanying vines grow on various plots on the cone of the Fläscher mountain and at the foot of the Falknis mountain.
The foundation stone for the winery was laid during the goods improvement in the late sixties. In 1976, Father Daniel Marugg pressed his first wine, which he bottled and marketed the following year.
He quickly gained a loyal clientele and was able to continuously expand production. In 1995, Daniel and Monika Marugg took over the winery. Since 1998, the wines are sold under the name Bovel. "Bovel" is a Romanisch field name, and is called ox willow. The wine cellar is located there.
The climatic conditions and the calcareous soil in the Fläscher field are ideal conditions for the grape variety Pinot Noir.
