Aromas of ripe red fruits underpinned by a fine coffee aroma, dried kitchen herbs. Soft and velvety tannins, well structured and complex.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks. Then the wine comes for approx. 3 months in oak barrels. A further 6 months in the stainless steel tank and 3 months in the bottle follow.
The history of Mora & Memo is passion and tradition handed down over generations. Elisabetta Pala is the owner of the winery and comes from a family with over 80 years of wine-growing experience. South-east of the Sardinian island, nestled between beautiful landscapes is the winery which today measures almost 100 hectares. Cannonau, Vermentino and Monica grow together with the international grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon in a hilly landscape up to 250 metres above sea level. This is the key to expressing the character and wilderness of this island in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea and to combining its character with the Weelt. Modern style with deep roots in Sardinian terroir.
The vines grow to over 200 metres above sea level. The soil consists mainly of limestone and clay.
