The 3 grape varieties Chardonnay (75%), Pinot Nero (15%), Pinot Bianco (10%) come from a total of 134 single vineyards, are vinified separately and then afterwards blended and refined for 28 months on the fine yeast.
In the hilly landscape of Franciacorta, Maurizio Zanella started the story of Ca 'del Bosco in his mother's country house in 1968. He grew Pinot Nero and Chardonnay, and at the age of 17 he produced his first sparkling wine. His mother had sparked in him as a teenager the passion for "champagne". With immense investment in money, time and work, but also with tireless thirst for knowledge, zest for action and the pronounced pursuit of perfection and quality in terms of wine, he continued to expand the winery piece by piece. In addition, he got an experienced champagne specialist with the cellar master of Dom Pérignon and a capable consultant with the oenologist Emile Peynaud from Bordeaux. The Gambero Rosso has previously awarded Ca del Bosco with 32 "tre bicchieri" wines and leads the winery in its everlasting list of still wines and number 1 in sparkling wines.
The Cuvée Prestige was first produced in 2007. But only the best grapes are good enough, selected from over 100 vineyards.
