Very fresh on the nose with aromas of pome fruit, some nectarine, pineapple, gooseberry and a little vanilla. Elegant on the palate with notes of yellow apple, star fruit, citrus fruit, some white flowers and subtle vanilla.
Fermentation in 500 litre French oak barrels. oak, then aged for another 10 months in barriques.
Influenced and inspired by a long tradition of viticulture in Jenins, Annatina Pelizzatti has been connected to this culture since childhood. Like many generations before her, she wanted to continue the 4-hectare farm with a lot of commitment and passion.
In 1997 she pressed her first wine, gained experience and attended various courses (including the University of Viticulture in Wädenswil). Guided by the cycles of the seasons, characterful wines are created anew every year.
The vineyards are cultivated according to ecological guidelines. (BioSuisse). Manual labour is a matter of course. For many generations, a healthy soil has been the basis of life, which is passed on.
The Chardonnay parcel is located above the village of Fläsch and was grown on pure Grisons slate, very mineral, with a lot of power and tension.
