Bright lemon yellow with green reflections, aromatic nose after ripe pomaceous fruit and citrus. Juicy on the palate with refined fruit and invigorating acidity. Uncomplicated aperitif for every occasion.
The selected grapes are gently pressed after manual reading. Subsequently, the must is fermented in the temperature-controlled stainless steel tank and partially subjected to malolactic fermentation before it is bottled.
St. Michael-Eppan is a cooperative of 350 winegrowers and is one of the largest and most successful wineries in South Tyrol. Despite its size, quality has been at the forefront since its founding in 1907, which is why it is one of the best wine cooperatives in the world today. The winery has been managed by the outstanding oenologist Hans Terzer since 1977.
The grapes are sourced from various wineries in the municipalities of Caldaro and Appiano, located at an altitude between 400 and 500 meters. The vines are exposed southeast and southwest and thrive on calcareous morain debris soils.
