Bright lemon yellow with green reflections. Aromas of pineapple, gooseberries, the typical elderflower note as well as hints of honey rise in the nose. Balanced fruity with a refreshing minerality and sparkling acidity on the palate.
The fermentation and the subsequent expansion take place in the steel tank on the yeast until February of the following year.
St. Michael-Eppan ist eine aus 350 Weinbauern bestehende Genossenschaft und gehört zu den grössten und erfolgreichsten Weinkellereien des Südtirols. Trotz ihrer Grösse steht seit der Gründung im Jahre 1907 die Qualität an vorderster Stelle, weshalb sie heute auch zu den besten Winzergenossenschaften der Welt zählt. Die Leitung der Kellerei trägt seit 1977 der hervorragende Önologe Hans Terzer.
This is an intense white wine made from vines aged between 10 and 25 years. This terroir here consists of limestone gravel with a south-easterly aspect.
